Welcome to "Backpacks 'n' Bandaids"! I am delighted to finally be getting started on this blog. It has been a LONG time coming. I have been picturing, planning, and writing this blog in my mind for at least a couple of years now. Unfortunately (or probably fortunately), my mind is not readily accessible to the general public.
The purpose behind Backpacks 'n'
Bandaids is to share anything and everything related to family life. I am a mother of 7+, so I'd like to think that I have a little bit of experience and knowledge on the subject. Plus hardly a day goes by that I don't spend time "researching" topics related to kids, moms, dads, parenting, etc. Whether it be looking for new recipes, finding fun activities for the kids, reading up on parenting tips, printing educational materials, investigating becoming a work-at-home mom, learning how to be more organized, etc...you name it, I've researched it...
over and over. So the idea is that I would compile all of my personal experience and research to create a reference for myself and an ongoing resource for others to find information, tips, and ideas relevant to family life.
It's exciting that I have finally found the time, or rather,
made the time to get started on this project. So...here goes nothin'!
